A visual art and writing workshop offering time and space for reflection, creative discovery, nature connection and exploration of sustainable practice in art. This session is designed for anyone who would like to engage with creativity in a relaxed and supportive environment.
We will explore:
Mark making and drawing
Colour and imaginative possibilities
Making, collage, and mixed media
Creative writing and reflection on sustainability
Participants are invited to come with the theme of sustainability in mind as a starting point for inspiration. This could be a nature experience, memory, place - including photographs, objects, or anything meaningful to you.
Session will include a short walk to the shoreline, weather permitting
Materials and refreshments are provided.
You are welcome to bring any additional materials you may wish to personally work with.
All experience levels and abilities are welcome.
The workshop will begin with gentle, mindful warm-up exercises to help you settle into the creative process.
There will be opportunities for group sharing, along with guidance on how you can continue developing your projects, ideas, and creative practice beyond the session.
