From the sun-scorched surface of Mercury to the icy frontiers of Pluto and beyond, prepare to encounter the many dangers and marvels of our Solar System on a breathtaking tour that reminds us just how precious our home planet truly is.
Then step into Helios, commissioned by the National Trust, and experience the Sun as never before. This awe-inspiring seven-metre sculpture by renowned artist Luke Jerram was created using more than 400,000 images of the Sun’s surface, drawing on NASA’s solar observations.

Please note: these bookings are for schools, educational institutions and community groups working with young people under the age of 18 years old. There is a minimum booking of 15 places required and a maximum capacity of 70 people in the dome. These sessions cost £5.00 per pupil with up to 10 accompanying adult tickets available for free.

The Market Hall is an accessible building, with accessible toilet facilities, lift access to upper floors and an accessible bar. Blue badge parking is available at the rear of the building.
