Wine Curious: Mindful Tasting with Phoebe So

Join us for a beginner friendly workshop and guided session exploring wine tasting with Phoebe So! Made for curious minds interested in wine. Learn to taste mindfully, pick out flavours and find the words to describe your experience (see! smell! taste!) in an intimate space. We will break down fancy wine verbiage and help you develop your palate. We will also discover fun facts about the range of factors influencing how a wine tastes (weather, climate, winemaking, farming and more). Most importantly, have fun, meet new faces, and learn to make the most of your wine drinking experience moving forward.

We will taste and evaluate at least 4 wines in a chatty and thoughtful session putting together tasting notes and thoughts. Charcuterie snacks will be provided and good company will be had.

As this workshop is made to be an intimate and cozy experience, spots are limited.

Presenter Bio:

Phoebe So, a certified wine nerd, has been deeply passionate about wine since her pivot into the world in 2023. She studied at George Brown College in the Wine Specialist Program and has also aced her WSET Level 3 certification. She has spent time working on vineyards and wineries in Slovenia and Vancouver Island, BC, and loved learning about wine practically while handling vines and grapes outdoors. She believes in an open minded and inclusive approach to enjoying wine.
