Dr. Sybil Geldart (Associate Professor, Psychology, Laurier University) discusses her book, 'Alone Time. Embracing solitude for health and well being' (Rockpool, Simon & Schuster, March 2024). The presentation will include readings of excerpts and a short, informal lecture on the main themes, drawing upon personal anecdotes, case studies, and research to show how it is possible for all citizens to live well despite an ever-changing world.
