WESAK is the most intense full moon of the year. The Esoteric Tradition teaches that on WESAK, the Buddha, the fully enlightened one, returns to earth during a secret ritual performed in a hidden valley in the Himalayas.
This is not a Buddhist event; it is not a religious event. it is a planetary event!
The Buddha returns for the sake of humanity, to create a downpour of spiritual energy to stimulate the spirit of love, brotherhood and good will on earth. Taking part in this yearly spiritual effort unites you with a planetary event.
To invoke the Buddha, we chant the mantra of Gautama the Buddha in a simple meditative ceremony, opening our hearts to receive the blessings that are distributed throughout the world through the effort of the Buddha and the Masters of Wisdom gathered in the Himalayas.
There will be a short teaching about WESAK before the actual meditation.
There is no charge for this event, but we appreciate donations to help pay for the venue. After, there are snacks to enjoy and socially intermingle
