You are invited to a unique event where contemporary art becomes imbued with profound sacred meaning. Weaving an Ancestral Tree is an art of reverence and gratitude, a collective act of creation where individual experiences merge into one symbolic image of life.
Participants will be instructed in the weaving of their own Ancestral Tree by knotting threads to recreate seven generations along both their maternal and paternal lines. Each knot and branch will signify honour and gratitude and will embody the continuity of one’s ancestral lineage.
This workshop is designed to provide:
— recognition of one’s place in the generational chain
— experience of the support and strength of one’s lineage
— meditative and creative immersion
— creation of a tangible image of unity and memory.
This workshop will be conducted in Ukrainian.
We welcome artists, researchers, and everyone who wishes to discover a new way to connect with their roots.
