From Rouse to Glass opens with Philip Glass’s Águas da Amazônia (arr. by David Skidmore & Third Coast Percussion), evoking the flowing power of Brazil’s rivers. The program continues with Christopher Rouse’s Bonham, a thunderous tribute to Led Zeppelin’s legendary drummer. The evening concludes with Terry Riley’s In C, a minimalist masterpiece of endless possibility.
