In this imaginative draw-along session, participants will create their own personal tree of life—a visual reflection of who they are and how they grow. Guided by artist Juan Pablo Briggs, you'll explore themes of identity, growth, and connection through drawing.

🌿 We’ll start underground—drawing the dirt, critters, and nutrients that help us take root.

🌳 Then, we’ll grow upwards—drawing stems, leaves, and fruits that symbolize our experiences, values, dreams, and talents.

🕊 Birds, squirrels, and other friendly visitors will remind us that we are never alone.

Juan Pablo will draw alongside participants, encouraging creative freedom while gently guiding the process. This workshop is a space for self-expression, storytelling, and joy through art. No experience needed—just bring your imagination! Limited spots available—register today to reserve yours!

Facilitator: Juan Pablo Briggs is a Colombian-born artist whose early life in the foster system shaped his deep connection to art. Raised in La Ceja and later adopted by an American family, he turned to creativity to navigate a turbulent childhood. Art has been a guiding force throughout his life—his language, healing process, and compass. His surrealist work explores themes of love, belonging, and the hero’s journey. He has participated in cultural exchanges with MUSE Arts in Zimbabwe and Colombia, collaborated on large-scale murals, led workshops, and exhibited in galleries including It’s OK* Gallery. For Juan Pablo, creating is an act of courage and purpose.
