Welcome to Watch This Space - Kid's Craft with U of T Trash Team! Join us at 768 Dundas St W on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM to 3.00PM for a free, fun-filled crafting event. Let your creativity soar as you make eco-friendly crafts with the University of Toronto Trash Team. This event is perfect for kids who love art and want to learn about sustainability in a hands-on way. Don't miss out on this opportunity to have a blast while helping the environment! See you there! (Eastern Time)

This workshop is free to attend, register early to save a spot!

Children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult.

About the U of T Trash Team

The U of T Trash Team is a science-based community outreach organization made up of undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs, researchers, local volunteers and staff all working together with a common goal to increase waste literacy in our community while reducing plastic pollution in our ecosystems. Founded in 2017 in collaboration with the Rochman Lab, part of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Toronto.

Their goals:

• Increase waste literacy in the community to motivate action and inform ways to reduce plastic pollution in our ecosystems.
• Work locally and build capacity globally by piloting solutions, informing prevention and cleanup, sharing resources, and inspiring independent groups to work together to scale up our collective capacity to tackle global plastic pollution.
