In November, Janis Daly had surgery to get a pacemaker. This was sudden and unexpectedly dramatic. Or was it? As she sat in the hospital emergency department awaiting services, it took her several hours to cancel all her upcoming planned events. Had the pace of her life become overwhelming?
How do you know when enough is truly enough? We will discuss the pace of our lives and how to manage it effectively.
Janis Daly is a lay chaplain and a lay minister at Don Heights Unitarian Congregation. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster with many speeches under her belt and a former adult trainer.
Janis is a singer and songwriter, an enthusiastic member of the Don Heights Singers and musician in various bands.
Sheila White is the Music Director as well as a Lay Chaplain at Don Heights. Don Heights Singers meet Mondays at 7pm with the exception of some holidays. New members are always welcome.
