Join author and teacher Rana Khan in a thoughtful discussion about mental health amongst the South Asian community.
The book The Stories Around Us: Mental Health Narratives of South Asian Women (2022; publication funded by the Gerstein Crisis Centre) will be the starting point. The discussion will focus on the silence and stigma around mental health, how we can best support women, and the resources available to the community. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session, and a copy of the book will be given away by raffle.
Drop-in. No registration is required.
