From the late, great Texas filmmaker S.F. Brownrigg (DON'T LOOK IN THE BASEMENT) comes SCUM OF THE EARTH, the backwoods proto-slasher movie classic that became a top-grossing box-office smash in 1976 when it was unleashed upon an unsuspecting public as POOR WHITE TRASH PART II.
SCUM OF THE EARTH stars Norma Moore and Joel Colodner as Helen and Paul Fraser, a young married couple whose vacation in the country becomes a nightmare of depravity and slaughter.
After Paul is brutally slain by an axe-wielding maniac, "city gal" Helen flees into the deep East Texas woods where she runs into Odie Pickett (Gene Ross), the mean, moonshine-swilling patriarch to a wretched clan of degenerates: child bride Emmy (Ann Stafford), feisty "trouble-lovin'" daughter Sara (Camilla Carr), and slow-witted, no-'count son Bo (Charlie Dell). Seeking refuge in the family's isolated shack, Helen finds out how they live below tobacco road...and how they die, as the lurking, unseen killer strikes, again and again....
Decades in the making, the restoration of SCUM OF THE EARTH is the unhealthy brainchild of author David Szulkin (LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT: THE MAKING OF A CULT CLASSIC). Award-winning colorist Alastor Arnold (ANORA) revived Brownrigg's grimy Southern Gothic horror from the rotting film elements under the supervision of Grindhouse Releasing owner Bob Murawski.
In the all-new shocker THE DEATH MOLESTER'S BARN OF BLOOD, two cretinous brothers begin to suspect that their cagey cousin is a prolific necrophile who has been terrorizing graveyards across the state of Maine. Directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Matt Enos, based on characters from his web series "The Slim Duffy Show", this unrated gorefest features the contributions of composer Mark Fox (THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE: THE SHOCKING TRUTH) and special effects artist Eric Fox (BRING ON THE DAMNED!).
