🌟 🌿 🥁 Our Facilitators

🌟 Madison Ryley
Madison has a passion for bringing people together in the name of healing with their own voices. Vibration is the key to unlocking profound physical healing, and connecting to your voice in this way helps to deepen your connection to your truest, most authentic self.
After studying to be an opera singer and receiving a Masters of Music, she quickly realized this was not her path. Instead of shying away from her operatic past, she took the strong foundation and understanding of the voice, and blended it with her passion for yoga, breathwork, and meditation to create her business “Yogapella, Holistic Voice Coaching & Yoga for Singers” in which she hosts workshops, retreats and events across Toronto and in San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala, where she lived for just under 3 years. Madison has completed many Yoga Teacher Trainings across Canada and India, and has studied various types of meditation (vipassana, mindfulness, yoga nidra, transcendental) as well as having extensive knowledge of the breath and various forms of breath work that she includes in her workshops (wim hof, diaphragmatic, ekadasi kriya, pranayam, rebirthing, holotropic & more).

In her workshop or retreat setting, we will be exploring how mindful meditation, movement, gentle breathing practices, and toning exploration can help unlock blocked energies in the body, and transmute past traumas into sound. We will release the sound from an embodied and safe space, leaving us feeling lighter, more connected and calm.

Madison is so excited to be sharing this work with the world, where together we will explore what it means to activate and heal with your own voice!

🥁 Mark Mazur
Mark Mazur, Master Percussionist, was living in Munich, performing with the Bavarian State Opera, and the Munich Philharmonic, yet always felt that in his music there was still "something missing". At that time he was head-hunted by Malaysia's national oil company to start their new Philharmonic Orchestra, where he discovered their aboriginals have Witch Doctors who rely on drumming for trance induction, healing, and raising consciousness. In this magical realm of rhythm, Mark found that "something missing".
Mark left the orchestra, bought a motorcycle, and embarked on a journey into drumming, rhythm and consciousness. He learned the drumming of Shamans, Witch Doctors, and Channellers from Indian, Arabic and S.E. Asian cultures, witnessing and participating in the miraculous.
Mark is a percussionist with the National Ballet Orchestra. He studied at the prestigious Hochschule fur Muzik in Munich where he performed with The Munich Philharmonic and the Bavarian State Opera. Then he learned how to play music by sitting with an Indian tabla master by the riverside in Malaysia, although originally going there as a founding member of the Malaysian Philharmonic.

👨🏽‍⚕️ “You may ask: ‘What kind of music can heal man? Is it singing, or playing, or something in the way of dance?’ Singing is the most powerful, for singing is living. It is prana, it is life itself, it is voice.” - Hazrat Inayat Khan

😍🚶🙏 Come and play and sing with us to open your heart, so we can all connect more fully with our authentic voices, and each other. Sacred singing helps bring our mind, body and Spirit together in unison to experience our full aliveness.
