About the event

ROM Speaks: ARC Ensemble

The Royal Conservatory of Music's Grammy-nominated ensemble visits ROM for one night only, presenting the works of two composers whose lives were associated with the Auschwitz concentration camps.

Pavel Haas's string quartet no. 2, “From the Monkey Mountains” is paired with a folkloric Quintet for piano and strings, and a wistful Passacaille for clarinet and piano by Szymon Laks.
