Prince Edward County, Canada-born Miss Emily specializes in overcoming insurmountable challenges. She has an innovative spirit and creative force born out of necessity, and her incomparable vocals are surpassed only by her electrifying, roof-rattling performances.
Celebrating her 21st year as a full-time songwriter and performing artist, Miss Emily is scheduled to release her much anticipated album The Medicine later this year, produced by Grammy and JUNO award winner Colin Linden.
With a third Female Vocalist of the Year Canadian Blues Award added last year, a 2022 JUNO nomination for Blues Album of the Year, an International Songwriting Competition Award and more performances scheduled for 2025 and 2026 in Canada, the USA, the UK and Europe, it’s safe to say that sooner than anyone can predict, the world will shine a bright, white spotlight on the Soul-Blues-Americana dynamo known as Miss Emily.
