Join this session for children presented by MediaSmarts, where you are introduced to the idea that what you see in media can be deceptive. Explore the idea that media is "framed" by their creators and consider what parts of the world are left out of the frame. For children ages 6-9 years.
Location: Toronto Public Library - North York Central Library, Room 101.
About our Presenter:
This program is facilitated MediaSmarts, a Canadian not-for-profit charitable organization for digital media literacy. Their vision is that children, youth, and trusted adults have the critical thinking skills to engage with media as active and informed digital citizens.
