Masaki Bio:
Masaki Morii is a globally recognized Japanese DJ, producer, and remixer whose music has been embraced by some of the biggest names in the industry. His tracks are played every week around the world by Louie Vega, Ron Trent, David Morales and Manoo among many others, solidifying his reputation as a key figure in the house music scene.
Starting his DJ career in 1999, Masaki soon ventured into music production, releasing original tracks and remixes under renowned labels such as King Street Sounds, Shelter Records, Quantize Recordings and Making Moves. In 2021, he founded his own label, M2SOUL Music, where his track "Namaqua" reached No.1 on Traxsource Afro House. He continued to release successful tracks such as "Organ Ride","The Night Is Young", and "Rock The Drum." His collaboration with Baltimore legend DJ Oji, "Voyage EP", topped the Traxsource overall chart.
Masaki Morii continues to make waves across Asia, performing regularly in Japan. In 2023, he toured Taiwan before making his European debut in 2024, performing in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, and London. His first album, "Depiction," ranked in the Top 10 on the Traxsource Album Chart and was also featured on Spotify’s official playlist "Alter JP." He has also been featured in major international mix shows, including Traxsource Live!
In 2024, Traxsource ranked him 66th in the "Top Artists of 2024" and 7th in the "Top Trending Artists 2024" out of 700,000 artists worldwide.
