For the first time ever, the University of Toronto’s Black Medical Students Association will be rounding up the 2024-2025 school year with a music showcase titled “Muziqa”. This event will serve as a fundraiser for TAIBU Community Health Centre, and will also highlight the talent that exists in our Black medical community. Expect to hear
Our theme for this year is “There’s No Place Like Home”. Muziqa will give audience members a glimpse into African and diaspora heritage through showcasing every corner of African, Caribbean, and Black Canadian/American music.
Through this showcase, the BMSA will raise funds for TAIBU Community Health Centre, a community-driven organization, located in Malvern, serving the Greater Toronto Area’s Black-identifying communities.
