Todmorden Mills is proud to present Lahore, a theatrical performance in partnership with SAWITRI Theatre Group. When new borders are drawn, where and what does one call home? Is there place for love and harmony amidst hate-induced violence? Set in the aftermath of the Partition of India, Lahore explores the universal meaning and feeling of belonging and home.Performed in Gujarati, with English subtitles available, be immersed in this heart-warming tale.Founded in January 2003, SAWITRI Theatre Group is an award-winning, not-for-profit organization specializing in South Asian narratives that resonate universally. Reccomended for ages 10+. Some scenes of violence and loud noises. The show is 2.5 hours long with a 15 minute intermission.
