Kilbourne is an absolute beast of a DJ behind the decks and cerebral and forward thinking producer. We caught her in a warehouse in Brooklyn & we were completely blown away. Hard, dark, a bit experimental, full-blown relentless - she knows how to take the dancefloor on a trip!
Kilbourne and her sounds sit at the perfect intersection of industrial, hard techno, hardcore, gabber and beyond. It's the equivalent of the rare band that punks, metal heads and rockers can all agree on. Kilbourne is one of those rare producers and DJs that fits the bill. And of course Kilbourne also has a past with grindcore and punk, so you know that's rubbed off on her rough and tough sounds.
Kilbourne has popped up in Vice, DJ Mag, Paper Magazine and many other publications and she gets booked at taste making, curated festivals and events throughout the world including Astropolis, Techsound & has played the influential Boiler Room series and The Lot radio as well as making sets for Q-Dance Defqon.1 & so much more!
Kilbourne releases on such forward thinking & influential labels as PRSPCT, Ophidian's Meta4, Lenny Dee's Industrial Strength Records, Casual Gabberz, Nekro Editions, Hammerhead & more. On top of all that, she's also heavily involved in community causes and isn't shy from expressing herself as well as lifting up others.
