Kairos Creature Club
https://www.kairoscreatureclub.com/
Kairos Creature Club (KCC) is a new project from Lena Simon (La Luz) and Glenn Van Dyke (BOYTOY). After years of playing in bands confined by genre, Van Dyke and Simon founded KCC definitively as an exploration of music. As an ever-evolving project, KCC is fueled by collaboration, the duo seeking out individuals who are moved by the moment, and subsequently capturing the minutiae when different combinations of artistry and creativity collide.

The Royal Family
https://theroyalfamilyetiquette.bandcamp.com/
The Royal Family is a six piece french/ english group based in Toronto. They’re a true family band, all living under the same roof. Their 2023 debut release takes inspiration from 60’s psychedelic, folk and pop music. In more recent days they’ve been working on an instrumental kraut/ jazz record that features double drums, electric piano, organ, synth, sax, flute, and bass. The new sound is in the vein of their 2023 recording “Chrysalis”, both driven and free; leaning into expressive and meditative playing.

Pretty
https://prettytheband.bandcamp.com/
From Toronto, Pretty has been a prominent fixture in the local music scene since their formation in 2015. With a discography that spans two captivating EPs and a full length album, with another highly anticipated full length album scheduled in late 2025, their journey has been one of relentless creativity. Pretty’s music is a kaleidoscope of influences, intricately woven together. Drawing inspiration from psychedelic culture, their music transcends the confines of ordinary soundscapes. In the past two years, Pretty has gone a 10-date UK tour following their hometown shows opening for international acts including The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Budos Band, and Ghost Funk Orchestra. But Pretty journeys in ways that are not merely geographical; their work is an emotional pilgrimage through the labyrinthine corridors of 21st-century existence. They channel the angst and vulnerability of a world grappling with precarity, where every step forward feels like an act of defiance.
