About the event

Her Heart/Чужа Молитва

On May 14, we will honour the victims of the 1944 Deportation of the Crimean Tatars (Sürgünlik).

The evening will feature a screening of “Her Heart / Чужа молитва”, directed by Akhtem Seitablayev. This film tells the true story of Saide Arifova, a Crimean Tatar woman who risked everything to save Jewish children during WWII and was later deported alongside her people.
