Info: Guests arrive and are welcomed with a Sicilian Orange Salad, a refreshing start to the evening. Chef Christina introduces the class, provides an overview of the menu, and explains the process of making authentic Sicilian arancini.
Info: Learn the foundations of arancini-making, starting with the preparation of the risotto-style rice base. Chef Christina will guide you through the key techniques for achieving the perfect texture and how to incorporate traditional Italian flavors. Guests will also prepare the fillings, including sun-dried tomato, pancetta & mozzarella and pesto, prosciutto & provolone.
Info: Guests will get hands-on experience shaping the arancini, learning how to properly stuff, roll, and seal each rice ball to ensure a crispy, golden crust. Chef Christina will demonstrate the best coating technique using breadcrumbs and egg wash for a perfect, even texture.
Info: Time to fry the arancini! Guests will take turns frying their handmade arancini while learning the best oil temperatures and frying methods to achieve a crispy, golden-brown exterior. Once ready, everyone will enjoy a tasting session, savoring the rich, cheesy, and flavorful combinations of their creations.
