Please join us for the Celebration of Life of Mike Dineen.
Mike left an indelible mark on countless lives in his time on earth. We gather to celebrate his warmth, his seemingly limitless love for all of us, and the impact made by this man so many of us called a friend.
We begin at Christie Pits park with a musical gathering of friends where a small effigy will be burned. We will be joined by Mike's choir who will sing during this ceremony. All are invited to write notes and memories and throw them into the fire.
After the effigy burn, we will parade to Revival Bar, playing songs that remind us of Mike, accompanied by lanterns hand-made for this event.
At Revival we are welcomed in with a sound bath and cocktails followed by a variety of performances, art pieces, speeches, poems, and a selection of food and snacks. Explore Revival as we remember Mike and his multifaceted life that connected so many people together.
6pm - 7:30pm — Christie pits
8pm — Parade to Revival Bar
8:30pm - 11pm — Revival Bar
