Join us for an evening of reflection, dialogue, and community as we honour Truth and Reconciliation Day. This inclusive gathering welcomes anyone interested in exploring Indigenous issues and how they connect to our daily lives.
Bring an Indigenous-authored book, share a passage, an insight, or simply come ready to listen. Our team will guide the discussion with thoughtful questions to spark meaningful conversations.
We’re honoured to welcome as our special guest for Beyond the Land. Brent is a Woodland-style painter from Sagamok First Nation whose work in acrylics on canvas carries deep spiritual significance and invites reflection on identity, dreams, and symbols. Influenced by both his Northern Ontario community and the graffiti subculture of Toronto, Brent bridges tradition and contemporary expression in powerful ways. His presence will add a unique artistic and cultural perspective to our discussion.
He’ll also be showcasing and selling his artwork at the event—get ready to be fully immersed in creativity all night long!
💛 Donations are welcome, with all proceeds going to .
