Basketry – Making a small basket

How do you weave a basket? Would you like to learn basketry techniques to make a well-finished basket that lasts over time?

Rebecca, basketry craftswoman, will share her know-how with you by guiding you through different techniques for weaving and tightening rattan.
Perfect for beginners or to offer as a gift, over the course of 3.5 hours you will learn to make a basket, ideal for holding pens, brushes, or any other small objects.

You will learn a variety of weaving techniques, including the 2/2 twill pattern, and how to finish the rim using a coloured wax cord of your choice.
