Award-winning crime writer Howard Shrier ("The American Zone"; "Buffalo Jump") shares techniques for building suspense in stories of crime and mystery. With a short reading of a suspenseful passage from his new novel and by drawing on his experience as an author and creative writing teacher, Howard shows you how to create an outline that takes your characters on the most challenging journey possible.

Registration is encouraged via Eventbrite. Drop-ins welcome until capacity is reached.
