Dive into the world of anime art!
This creative Anime Art Workshop is designed for teens aged 8+ who love animation, storytelling, and expressive characters. Whether you’re just starting out or already drawing anime at home, this workshop offers a fun and supportive space to learn and create.

• Learn what anime is and how it differs from manga
• Discover famous anime studios, artists, and iconic series
• Fun facts: anime is watched by hundreds of millions of fans worldwide and influences movies, fashion, and gaming
• Step-by-step instruction on anime-style character design
• Practice drawing expressive eyes, emotions, movement, and poses
• Create your own original anime character
• Work with paper, pencils, and markers
• Friendly, relaxed atmosphere designed for creativity and confidence

Each participant will complete a finished anime character illustration to take home.

This workshop is part of our Sunday Art Class Series for Teens at the Fort York Branch, held weekly at 12:30 pm. Upcoming themes include:
