A live soundtrack by Good Creatures

Fragments is a 45 minute immersive performance by Toronto-based filmmaker and composer Good Creatures (Leo Zambrano).
Neither a traditional concert nor a film, the show takes shape as a live soundtrack to an unseen movie. Each of the five “scenes” combines piano and strings with cassette tape hiss, bowed guitars, field recordings, and processed vocals, blending live instruments with sound design to form a cinematic score.
Musically, the performance moves between ambient, post-classical, film scoring, and experimental sound design. Inspired by Hania Rani, Nils Frahm, Alex Somers, Jóhann Jóhannsson, and Sigur Rós.
Each piece is both music and place: a fragment of memory reimagined as cinema for the ears. Together, they trace the arc of a relationship. Its intensity, its collapse, and the fragments left behind.
