The Black Mat: A Complementary Yin Yoga Class for Black Yogis

Join us for an evening of restorative practice and connection. The Black Mat is an affinity space held exclusively for Black yogis of all ages, levels, and genders. This session will be facilitated as yoga therapy by an internationally certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT 900hr).

Schedule

• 7:00 PM – Arrival & settling in
• 7:15–8:30 PM – Yin Yoga Therapy practice (gentle, restorative, all levels)
• 8:30–8:50 PM – Class dialogue & reflection
• 8:50 PM - Soft Ending
• 9:00 PM - Doors

What to Bring

• Your yoga mat (mats will also be provided if needed)
• Water bottle or tea for hydration
• Comfortable clothing for gentle movement

This space is about rest, breath, and belonging. No prior yoga experience is required—just bring yourself as you are. Together, we’ll create a grounding space for collective healing, dialogue, and connection.
