"Roots in the Wind" with Dianna Lopez and Earth Calling

Event Flow at Butterfly Mountain in Topanga Canyon

Guests will gather in a serene outdoor clearing to open the evening with a ceremonial tea ritual led by Esmeralda Rose, inviting everyone into a state of presence and calm. During this time, Dianna Lopez will begin the first half of her live musical set.

Afterward, there will be a chance to pause and reflect through gentle journaling, followed by a Q+A conversation with Dianna, guided by Leah Thomas (founder of Intersectional Enviormentalist).

As the sun moves across the sky, Dianna will continue with the second part of her live music performance. At the same time, movement guide Taliha Abdiel will lead soft, flowing exercises designed to open the body and deepen connection to the music.

The experience blends sound, movement, reflection, and herbal tea—creating a space to connect with yourself, the land, and the community.

This gathering is rooted in the belief that personal healing and planetary healing are deeply intertwined. By bringing people into direct relationship with the land at Butterfly Mountain accompanied by Dianna's music, we remind them that the earth is not separate from us, and that it’s within all things… the ground we move on, the air we breathe, and within the silence that holds our thoughts.
