Toowoomba Hop & Swing - May Edition

The Toowoomba Hop welcomes everyone of all ages. You can practice all the different Swing Dancing styles including Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Charleston, Blues, Balboa and from time to time you will also see solo routines like the Shim Sham, Big Apple or even the Trankee Doo.

This very welcoming social event kicks off with a “Taster Class” that will get anybody dancing even if you have two left feet. Our goal is to have you smiling and having a good time while you learn this fun thing called “Swing Dancing!”

🎺 6:45 pm - Doors open
🎺 7:00 - 7:30pm :- Absolute Beginners Taster Class.
🎺 7:30 – 9:00pm – Social Dancing


After the class, the lights will be turned down low, for social dancing to some awesome Swing DJ's. The music for the night will cover a variety of tempos so you can swing out with Lindy Hop and Balboa dance or Charleston the night away.
