Grow Your Own Food Forest: A Hands-On Workshop by Michael Wardle

Come and get your hands dirty while learning how to grow a food forest—a garden that works like a forest but is full of plants you can eat, use, and enjoy. In this 4-hour workshop, we'll show you how to grow food in a way that's easy to look after, good for the soil, and supports nature. You'll learn how to choose the right plants, where to put them, and how to build healthy soil by copying how forests work. We'll spend time outside looking at real examples and doing practical activities so you can leave feeling confident to start or improve your own food forest at home.

Workshop: 10am-2.00pm Saturday 5th July 2025
Participants: Max 25 (15 TCOGA Members and 10 Community Members)
