Golden Garden Days: Toluca Stop

Celebrate 50 Years with the Master Gardeners!

Celebrate 50 years of the Master Gardener program with us in Toluca! From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., explore the beautiful Toluca Coal Mine Wildflower Meadow and the Toluca School Garden. Master Gardeners will be present throughout each site to answer questions, and provide insight into the work they do in our communities.

This is one stop on a larger tour happening throughout the day. You're also invited to join us in Henry earlier that morning or in Ottawa later that afternoon!

All locations are free and open to the public. Come celebrate 50 years of growing together!

9:30-10:30 a.m. - Travel to Toluca

10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. - Toluca Coal Mine Wildflower Meadow and School Garden | East Bennington St., Toluca, IL 61369

12:30-2:00 - Lunch on own and travel to Ottawa. | Take some time to explore downtown Ottawa during your visit.

2:00-4:00 p.m. - Ottawa Toll House Garden and other sights | 221 Columbus St, Ottawa, IL 61350
