Skate in a Historic Pavilion:
Join us for an exhilarating short track roller derby weekend in the stunning, century-old pavilion where skaters rolled in the 1930s at Stump Lake. This remarkable venue combines the thrill of short track roller derby with the charm of history, making it the perfect backdrop for an exciting weekend of skating. Whether you're a seasoned short track skater or new to the ruleset but ready to try something new, this event promises action-packed fun for everyone.
Camp in Nature's Beauty:
Extend your adventure by camping with us at the picturesque Stump Lake Campground. Nestled in the heart of North Dakota, this beautiful campground offers serene views, lush greenery, and the perfect opportunity to unwind and reconnect with nature. Set up camp with fellow derby enthusiasts and enjoy the camaraderie of the great outdoors.
Event Highlights:
● Short Track Roller Derby: Watch or participate in thrilling short track roller derby bouts. Join the rules clinic if you’ve never played short track before. Bring you your team or skate with new friends in mixers, or both!
● Scenic Camping: Pitch your tent (or ours) or park your RV in a stunning natural setting. There’s even a restaurant/pub on site.
● Community Spirit: Meet fellow skaters and make new friends on the track and around the campfire.
● Extras and Activities: Join the scavenger hunt, group campfires with s’mores galore, revisit your childhood on old school and modern playground equipment, play volleyball, baseball or basketball outside, go for a swim, catch a fish and lots of other off-skates fun.
ALL SKATING LEVELS WELCOME! There is a place for you on the track at Stump Lake.
We play No-contact derby if you're a rookie or just nervous about contact.
We play Low-contact derby where we just drive and lean (no hitting) and of course.
We play Full Contact Derby if you really like to hit your friends.
Join us for a weekend filled with excitement, community, and the great outdoors. Whether you're here for the skating, camping, or simply to enjoy the atmosphere, this event is sure to be a highlight of your year.
Registration is BOGO free until $60
Refs are free.
Spectators are $5 on site.
Campsites are $30-40 depending on if you want water and electricity and can hold 8 campers/site.
