Eco Talk – Tiny Homes

Are you curious about tiny homes? Wondering what it’s really like to live in one, or what challenges and freedoms come with downsizing your lifestyle? Join us for a talk with Scotty Mitchell, experienced builder – SJ Mitchell Building and proud tiny home owner. From design considerations and building costs and the realities of day-to-day living, Scotty is a passionate down to earth guy who thrives on creating sustainability. Hear from someone who has walked the talk, and worked in the building industry for 35 years! He will share his insights and answer your questions.

7pm – 9pm, speaker, Q and A, finishing with supper.

There will be a cover charge of $5 for this event to go towards supper.

This event is part of the South Canterbury Eco Centre’s monthly “Eco Talks”. During the first week of most months we aim to have a presenter, followed by supper. These sessions will be a minimum of $5 per person and can be booked via our website.
