About this month's topic
This month we will chat about the fast-emerging world of Vibe Coding with Daniel Hansen, an Interactive Media professor at Confederation College and co-owner of 11/17, and Shane Shipston, Director of Development and an experienced programmer at Shout Media. Together they will break down what vibe coding is, how it is already being used, and what makes it different from traditional development. The conversation will look at both the benefits and drawbacks, along with best practices for teams and developers starting to use it. They will also discuss how vibe coding is changing the way software is built and how businesses and schools will need to adapt. Come and be a part of the conversation about this next generation development approach!
What's it about?
Third Tuesdays are a place for Thunder Bay tech enthusiasts to come out and meet up and network with their peers. We chat about technology, startups, and happenings in Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario. We meet monthly at The Foundry on (you guessed it) the third Tuesday of the month.
If you have any questions prior, please email James - amFtZXMgfCBud29pbm5vdmF0aW9uICEgY2E=.
