The Innovation Centre is proud to be partnering on a new initiative: The Boreal Springboard. Through providing funding, programing, mentorship, technical supports, and connections to industry, the initiative’s accelerator program will support startup and seed stage businesses starting in March 2026 to bring innovative forest-based solutions to the region – however they add value to our forest fibres.

There is a major opportunity to our forest to leverage underutilized species, integrate with industry residual streams, and access growing markets. Come out to our Discovery and Connections Forum and learn more about funding, specific business opportunities, resources and supports. Snacks will be provided.
