Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in the United States.
Most symptoms occur late in the disease when treatment options are limited.

Lung Cancer Screening Criteria:
You are eligible for lung cancer screening if you have the following risk factors:
- Between 50 and 80 years old
- Current or previous smoker within the last 15 years
- 20 pack year smoking history (examples below)
- No lung symptoms (no symptoms of fever, cough, coughing up blood, chest pain, new shortness of breath, unexplained weight loss)
