The Cartoons of Max Fleischer: Fleischer Fairy Tales

Step back in time and beat the heat with The Cartoons of Max Fleischer: Fleischer Fairy Tales, a delightful screening of beautifully restored classics from the golden age of animation. Join us on Sunday, August 17th at 2:00 pm at Watts Hall Community Arts (174 Main Street, Thomaston) for an afternoon of family-friendly fun featuring Betty Boop, Popeye, Koko the Clown, and more. These cartoons are just as vibrant and whimsical as audiences remember.

Lovingly restored in 4K by Fabulous Fleischer Cartoons Restored, a company started by Max's granddaughter, Jane Fleischer Reid, this 65-minute collection showcases seven imaginative tales, including Poor Cinderella, Betty in Blunderland, and Snow White. It’s the perfect outing for parents and grandparents to share the magic of Fleischer’s animation with a new generation.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. The hall is air-conditioned, the popcorn will be fresh, and the memories are sure to last a lifetime.
