SYNOPSIS
Every Brilliant Thing is a one-person play that follows the life of an unnamed narrator who, as a child, begins compiling a list of all the brilliant things in the world—things worth living for—in an effort to help their mother cope with chronic depression. It is ultimately a moving, funny, and deeply human story that uses simplicity and audience participation to explore the complexities of life, love, and loss.
