Mile of Ledges and Tory Den Trail

We’ll be exploring Burlington’s Mile of Ledges & Tory Den loop — about 4.4 miles with roughly 600 ft of elevation gain. This moderate hike features rocky scrambles, shaded forest, and the historic Tory Den. Plan for about 2.5 hours on the trail. We will meet at 397-289 E Plymouth Rd, Terryville, CT 06786 at 12:45pm and hit the trail promptly at 1:00, so please arrive on time. Summer conditions mean bug spray, plenty of water, and light clothing; wear good footwear, and hiking poles are always welcome.
