VE Day 80
Come and join us for special events on Thursday May 8th at St Andrew’s with Trinity Church, Shifnal to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe.

10.00am – Flag Raising Ceremony
School children, Royal British Legion, and the people of Shifnal.
Stay for refreshments afterwards!

6.30pm Bell Ringing & Parade from Shifnal Village Hall to church

7:00pm VE Day Service
Memories of VE Day from 80 years ago
Mayor’s Proclamation and Lighting of the Lamp of Peace.
