Hailing from Bridgnorth, Dan's sound is a unique journey from Delta blues to Celtic rhythms, folk, rock, soul, and the British Blues Explosion. He's even shared stages with big names like Ozric Tentacles and Brand New Heavies, so you know you're in for something special.
🥁 THE WAY OUT: And closing out the night, we've got the prolific duo, The Way Out! Steve Loftus and Del Jones have been perfecting their craft on the Shropshire Open Mic circuit for a decade, with over 100 original compositions recorded and new releases dropping soon. Get ready for a fresh sound from these songwriting powerhouses!

TESSA LU
After losing her mum at an early age, Tessa Lu immersed herself into the world of music. For her, songwriting became her saving grace; an outlet for expressing complex thoughts and emotions that were otherwise too difficult to communicate.
Now in her early 20s, Tessa is a full time student and still turns to singing and songwriting as a therapeutic and comforting activity in her free time; a hobby which is well complimented by her studies in psychology.
Inspired by such talents as Adele, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, and many more, Tessa Lu explores a range of themes through her songs: from grief and loss, to betrayal and love, and everything in between.

DAN WILLIAMS
Dan Williams is a Bridgnorth based songwriter and producer, his unique sound draws from music of the Delta to Celtic rhythms, Folk, Rock, Soul and the British Blues Explosion.
He has shared the bill with the likes of Ozric Tentacles, Sean Kuti, Brand New Heavies, Becky Hill, and recently George Boomsma and Lady Nade.
Dan is accompanied by Shropshire musician and upright Bass player Ian Wheeler.
Ian needs no introduction, he has played with the likes of Ned Atomic Dustbin the Black Rapids and many more. Ian’s upright bass sound brings a very rich and soulful blend to the mix.

THE WAY OUT
Steve Loftus (Lead Vox and guitar) and Del Jones (Backing vox, Drums, guitars, keyboards) were originally formed to record Steves catalogue of original songs. First album released in 2021 with several other releases since, the duo have been performing on Shropshires Open Mic circuit for the last 10 years and only recently decided to start doing their own gigs. Over 100 original compositions now recorded with a four track EP coming out soon and a double album coming out by the end of the year.
