There’s no need to be late for this very important date. Join us from 12 noon until 2pm and tumble down the rabbit hole to experience our Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea. Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s iconic novel, this promises to be a magical afternoon at our beautiful Georgian Shropshire hotel.
This is a perfect treat for everyone who loves children’s fairy tales and stories. Step into our cleverly themed room on Sunday, 17th May 2026 and help us recreate this classic children’s book.
As we are centrally located, with plenty of free parking, this event is perfect for anyone who lives in Telford, Shropshire. West Midlands and the Black Country – especially if you love a quality afternoon tea!
Gastronomic Sweet & Savoury Treats!
Our last Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea Party was a sell-out and our Chefs just love the opportunity to showcase their fantastic talents.
Your Afternoon Tea will be a gastronomic array of sweet and savoury treats. There will be freshly made sandwiches, generously filled with a tasty array of fillings. Enjoy a selection of savoury pastries which will perfectly complement each other. Then, for many, comes the best part as we will finish with a wonderful choice of sweet treats. If you or any of your family and friends have to follow a special diet, please just let us know (72 hours notice, please). As the afternoon tea is freshly prepared, it means that we can therefore ensure that no one need miss out!
For the adults, there will be lashings of freshly brewed tea and coffee, for the children there will be tea or fruit juice. If you fancy something a little more sparkly, then why not treat yourselves to a glass (or perhaps a bottle) or bubbles?
