Every month, The Village NZ and Kangatraining Tauranga are so thrilled to provide you all a FREE class led by Tauranga instructor Aiddie Carnihan. This fun class has amazing physical benefits, but that's not all. Kangatraining class is an opportunity to meet other local mums in a fun, relaxed environment and give yourself a nice emotional wellbeing boost at the same time.
What is a Kangatraining class?
Kangatraining is a workout class for Mums, parents and caregivers where baby is worn on Mum and gets to be part of the action! As well as a fun time with dancing to music this class is a workout incorporating elements of cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and muscular strength. The pelvic floor and abdominal muscles as well as correct posture are given special attention.
Aiddie is also certified in baby wearing best practices and can help mums ensure the safest and most comfortable carrying positions for their babies.
You can participate in Kangatraining from 6 weeks postpartum for a vaginal birth and 12 weeks postpartum for a c-section with medical clearance from your midwife, women's physio, GP or healthcare professional.
The Class is FREE, but registration is essential, and spaces are limited to register now to secure your spot!

What do you need to bring with you?
- You and your baby
- A baby carrier if you have one or you can borrow one
- Yoga mats provided.
