Ceremonial breathwork is a conscious connected breathing technique that utilizes ceremony and ancestral traditions to help participants access deeper levels of emotional and physical awareness. Through very gentle guided breath and music, participants' bodies are able to release trapped or suppressed emotions and heal from past trauma.
Our ceremonial breathwork circle begins with a fire and water blessing upon entering the sacred space. Participants will then gather in a circle to share our emotional states and what we hope to achieve from joining the breathwork circle. We will then explain the breathing technique and have participants lie down with their heads facing towards the fire to better connect through our hearts.
We will breathe for approximately an hour while listening to a carefully curated playlist of evocative music accompanied by ceremonial drumming, chanting and gentle song. During the breathing participants may also be receiving very gentle touch and body work from our “angels” to aid in the movement of trapped emotions in the body. After the breathwork is completed, we will all gather closely around the fire in the middle of the circle to share our experiences, integrate, hold space for each other and hold each other physically if we need to be held.
The cost of attending the workshop is 60 GEL. For registration, the full amount must be paid in advance. In case of not attending the event, only half of the amount transferred will be refunded.
The event will be held in English, and an assistant will be able to guide in Georgian if something is unclear.
