Join renowned New Zealand-born Samoan visual artist Ana Teofilo for a transformative art experience that blends Polynesian heritage, contemporary techniques, and personal storytelling.
Ana merges her Samoan heritage with modern materials like glue guns and painted boards to create striking, tactile pieces.
Her workshops are known for being therapeutic, inclusive, and deeply engaging—ideal for anyone seeking creative expression and cultural connection.
Open to all skill levels. No prior carving experience needed. This course offers a welcoming space to explore Pacific art and your own creative voice.
What You'll Do:
Explore Polynesian Motifs: Learn the cultural significance behind traditional symbols & patterns
Hands-On Carving: Create your own carved artwork wooden boards, guided by Ana’s signature 3-d effect technique
Storytelling Through Art: Reflect on your own identity and journey as you incorporate personal meaning into your piece
