An empowering evening for parents and athletes to better understand how puberty impacts young women in swimming and sport. Presented by Dr Emily Carter - Head of High Performance at Tennis NZ, Sports Physio, and S&C Specialist for development to elite athletes - this session with cover:
* How puberty can affect training and performance
* Why menstrual health matters in sport & strategies to help manage
* Key nutrition strategies for fuelling the young female athlete
Dr Carter will share clear, evidence-based strategies to help athletes and families better understand and navigate female adolescence - a critical stage for long-term confidence, wellbeing, and sport participation.
