AON Patrol Captain Course

COURSE OVERVIEW

The AON Patrol Captain Course provides information on what you need to know and be able to do as a patrol captain. The qualification also covers theory on leadership topics which are then put into practice during scenarios. This prepares Surf Lifeguards for the leadership role that is essential to being a successful patrol captain.


PRE-REQUISITES

Patrol Captain Award:

· Current member of a SLS Club

· 16 years of age

· Surf Lifeguard Award (Refreshed)

· Surf First Aid (Refreshed)

· Radio Communication Module or Marine VHF Radio Operators Certificate

· Minimum 2 full season’s patrolling experience

· Online Patrol Captain pre-learning must be completed via Etrainu

COURSE INFORMATION

Duration: 1 day Requirements: Fully participate in the course and complete the workbook Registration:

To register ask your club rep to register you into the Course Instance in CRM/PAM

Course cost: Free

Note: If you register for a course but do not attend, your Club may be charged
